IREDELL COUNTY, N.C. – The Iredell County Sheriff’s Office arrested 10 people in connection with a rash of break-ins at storage units in the southern part of the county and in another ongoing investigation into the passing and manufacture of counterfeit bills.

Officials began investigating the series of breaking and entering reports in May, each involving multiple units and multiple victims.

Throughout the course of their investigation, detectives linked their storage unit breaking and entering case to an ongoing investigation into counterfeit bills being manufactured and passed in Iredell and other counties.

Authorities say the investigation is “far from complete”, and additional charges are expected to be filed against suspects and others not yet named.
