Los Angeles -- His name may not be too familiar -- but his laugh definitely is.

The man who voiced the laugh of Woody Woodpecker is dead. Harry Babbitt died this month at a California nursing home at the age of 90.

He had a high voice that later was used on the famous recording of "All I Want For Christmas Is My Two Front Teeth." Babbitt included a lisp on that one.

Babbitt was known as "Handsome Harry" by the band leader Kay Kyser. Among the big band's hits -- "The White Cliffs of Dover."

Babbitt was responsible for the laugh on "Woody Woodpecker," Kyser's 1948 hit novelty tune.
