The star-studded Oscars are almost here. There are some fun apps to feel part of the event.

For near-real time updates on the stars and Oscar nominees check out the E! Live from the Red Carpet app.
This app gives you the latest 411 on all big award shows including weekly movie premieres and film festivals. Everything from celeb news, photos, plus VIP access to celeb live streams and the infamous GlamCam 360.
Forget the ceremony, if you only care about “who wore it best” then the Fashion Police app is a must-have leading into the Oscars. Catch all the glitz, glam and “what happened” by downloading this before the red carpet rollouts out on March 2. Although it’s easy to take a guess at the winners, there’s no telling who will be dubbed best or worst dressed on the most magical night in Hollywood!
Movie lovers alike thrive on trivia. They want to be sure they have a handle on this year’s nominees in addition to all the past films, actors and actresses that have once graced the Academy Awards. The IMDb Movie app allows you to look up over 2 million movie titles and over 4 million celebrity bios. From movie trivia to searching for show times of the recent Oscar nominated films – this app is a necessity for all movie fanatics.
Mark your calendars for Sunday, March 2 and stay up to date by following @TheAcademy and Oscar host @TheEllenShow to hear the latest updates on all the nominees. Don’t forget to catch the red carpet action leading up the show beginning at 6:00 p.m.
