Strong storms moving through

Showers and thunderstorms are developing ahead of the cold front today. Strong thunderstorms will affect Iredell, Northern Rowan and Alexander counties through 4:15pm. These storms have the potential to produce damaging winds, intense lightning and penny sized hail.
Tonight, we have a 50% for showers and thunderstorms with temperatures in the mid-60s.
Sunday another round of thunderstorms will develop with highs in the mid-70s.
A few of these storms could be severe.
