CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Monday morning will be cool with highs around 54 and sunny skies. High pressure builds into the area which will allow for sunny skies and dry conditions. Temperatures will be near 80 degrees which is 6 degrees above normal.

Tuesday and Wednesday will be similar to Monday’s weather with highs nearing 86 degrees.

Thursday is a transitional day. Clouds will increase and there is a chance for showers developing ahead of a cold front.

By Friday, temperatures will drop into the upper 60s with showers most of the day.

Skies will clear by Saturday afternoon.
