Update: Amber alert suspect held up in GA hotel; victims inside with him

MADISON, G.A.-- Police in Madison, Georgia tell NewsChannel 36 that the suspect and victims from the South Carolina Amber Alert issued early Sunday morning, is currently being held up in a hotel room in Madison and the victims are inside with him.
Officials say Eva Arce-Perez and her 7-month-old son Allim David Dietz were kidnapped around 11 p.m. Saturday. Authorities identified a third victim as 17-year-old Jamie Lynn Burgess.

West Columbia police said the three were abducted by Perez' estranged husband, David Dietz. Officials said shots were fired during the kidnapping, and police say Dietz may be armed.
