CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s new club in Charlotte will open in a few days.

Earnhardt was at Whisky River on East Trade Street on Tuesday night, speaking to the media.

The name speaks for itself but the bar also has a mechanical bull. Earnhardt said the bar is suited just for his taste.

"I built it to come in here and hang out, come and have a good time on a Tuesday night," he said. "I don't enjoy going into a bar and seeing everybody took the best spot so we want every spot to be decent and average around here."

Whiskey River's grand opening is Friday night.
