'America's Most Wanted' to feature Sun-drop murder case

Police released this sketch of the suspect in the Sun-drop murder case.

CONCORD, N.C. -- "America's Most Wanted" is getting involved in the unsolved murders of two people killed at the Sun-drop Bottling Company in Concord.

Donna Barnhardt and Darrell Noles were shot to death in the front office of the plant on June 13, 2008.

Investigators believe robbery was the motive. Witnesses described seeing a man with dreadlocks, wearing a white T-shirt and blue jeans, leaving the business.

"Every resource we have available has been dedicated to this case," said Concord Police Chief Merl Hamilton. "Concord officers have been dedicated to solving this crime as quickly as possible but we need help from the public. We have received dozens of tips based on the initial description we distributed and each tip is being carefully analyzed with follow up if appropriate."

The "America's Most Wanted" production crew will be in Concord on Wednesday. The scheduled airdate for the Sun-drop case is May 23.
