MATTHEWS, N.C. -- Charlotte and Mecklenburg County firefighters are battling a fire at a warehouse south of Matthews.

The building is located on Campus Ridge Road, near Interstate 485 and East Independence Boulevard.

The blaze was reported just after 5 p.m. at East Coast Container.

Airstar 36 over the scene showed black smoke coming from a smokestack on the warehouse. Video also showed flames shooting from a hole in the roof.

No injuries have been reported.
