Man robs west Charlotte drug store

The suspect was captured on the store's surveillance camera as he walked inside.

Charlotte police released surveillance photos of a man accused of robbing a west Charlotte drug store in hopes someone will recognize the suspect.

The suspect walked into the CVS on Little Rock Road Sunday and approached the counter with items to purchase. Police said the man showed the clerk a handgun in his waistband and demanded money.

The suspect left the store with an undisclosed amount of money. He was last seen leaving the parking lot in a light blue Chevrolet Celebrity.
