LAWNDALE, N.C. -- The family of a woman who went missing from an assisting living facility is offering a $15,000 reward for her safe return.
Mouy Tang walked away from the Unique Living facility on Sept. 3 and hasn't been seen since. She suffers from schizophrenia and diabetes and needs medication.
Tang's family has partnered with Crime Stoppers to offer the reward.
"Any individual who has her or seen her, or any individual who knows where she is, please bring her home, or please go to the next medical facility and drop her off," said Quynh Tang, Mouy's sister. "She's really important to us."
The state closed Unique Living on Thursday after determining the facility was not safe for residents. The facility was supposed to be vacated by midnight Friday.
Anyone with information on Mouy Tang's whereabouts should call 704-484-4822.
