Each week we check with area hospitals to find out the most common conditions sending people to area doctors' offices and emergency rooms.
Presbyterian Healthcare:
Gaston (Whitestone Family Medicine): Allergies, stomach flu
Cabarrus (Northgate Family Medicine): Nausea/vomiting, ear infections, sinusitis, bronchitis and one case of chicken pox.
York (Indian Land Primary Care): Strep throat, conjunctivitis.
Mecklenburg (Meridian Medical Group- South): Strep throat, vomiting, upper respiratory infections, croup, Hand/Foot/Mouth disease, Roseola and Fifth Disease.
Union (Waxhaw Family Physicians & Center for Child and Adolescent Medicine): Strep throat, common cold, allergies, sinusitis, fever, MRSA, and pharyngitis.
