JIUJIANG, CHINA -- Sister Christian, oh the time has come.
Charlotte Christian radio talk show host Leslie Nease – dubbed “Mom” by some tribemates and “Sister Christian” by others – was the third person voted off CBS’s “Survivor: China” Thursday night.
The WRCM-FM (“New Life” 91.9) personality held her own in a challenge that basically required her to fight dirty, but was later singled out as one of her team’s weakest links. And ultimately, her teammates grew suspicious after she was “kidnapped” by the opposing tribe, which she quickly grew fond of – in part, she admitted, because it had three Christians in its ranks.
Following the 6-2 vote, Nease briefly turned to blow a kiss to her teammates as she departed. In her closing statement, the 38-year-old Tega Cay, S.C., resident said, “I always knew going into this game that I would be here as long as God wanted me to be here. Apparently, he’s ready for me to go home.”
