1 seriously hurt in south Charlotte crash

Three cars were involved in a serious crash at a busy south Charlotte intersection.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – One person was taken to the hospital with serious after a multi-vehicle collision in south Charlotte Wednesday night.

According to Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police, officers responded to a 911 call a little before 10:30 p.m. for a crash at the intersection of Sharon Road West and Sharonbrook Drive. Police at the scene said three vehicles were involved in the crash.

Medic confirmed that one person was taken to CMC-Main with serious injuries. 

Investigators have not determined the cause of the crash.
