CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Gastonia Fire Department responded Monday afternoon to an overturned truck carrying explosives on Highway 321.
According to The Gastonia Fire Department's Facebook page, the highway was shut down while the Hazardous Materials team secured the load.
The truck driver was not hurt, said the Gastonia Fire Department.
Since the incident, the Gastonia Fire Department have secured the load and reopened all Highway 321 northbound lanes and one southbound lane. However, they updated traffic-goers via social media saying, "when wrecker arrives SB lanes will close again."
