School bus involved in NE Charlotte crash

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- A Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools bus was involved in a collision Monday afternoon in northeast Charlotte.

Late-Monday afternoon, first responders were called out to the scene of a traffic accident involving a school bus at Rocky River and Old Concord Roads.

No students were on board the bus at the time, school officials say, however, one person was taken to the hospital with injuries officials called not life threatening. 

It's not yet clear what caused the accident.
