CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- We took a trip back in time on this morning’s Larry’s Look.
Trolleys helped to build Charlotte’s earliest neighborhoods by easily moving people across town, starting in 1891.
Larry and photojournalist Mike Hanson visited the Charlotte Trolley Powerhouse Museum in South End and got a great history lesson about the streetcars that took riders to work and home.
Kids love the hands-on museum and adults like it so much that a lot of trolley enthusiasts get married there!
