CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolinas Aviation Museum is only a few minutes from uptown and is a great place for anyone who is interested in the history of flight.
This morning on Larry’s Look, we visited the museum and spoke to Executive Director Wally Coppinger.
He gave us a close-up view of some historical aircraft, including an exact replica of the Wright Brothers plane that flew at Kitty Hawk, N.C., with Orville at the controls.
The most amazing part of the segment was seeing inside Flight 1549, the “Miracle on the Hudson”.
