Those words are from legendary coach, Vince Lombardi. Carolina’s Actors Studio Theatre is presenting “Lombardi”, a play about this coaching icon.
The show’s director, Michael Simmons was our guest on Larry’s Look this morning.
He talked about the production and how it concentrates on the time when Lombardi coached the Green Bay Packers --- how that affected his marriage, the relationship with his children, and his football team.
Lombardi himself, as portrayed by actor Charles LaBorde, had a special “pep talk” for Larry!
