MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- The great town of Mooresville is the home of The North Carolina Auto Racing Hall of Fame.
The Museum features over 35 race cars, dedicated to all types of auto racing. You’ll find cars from drag racing to Indy to stock cars. It’s a great way to re-live some of racing’s greatest moments.
There are all types of racing displays and special showcases that changed continually to promote North Carolina’s motorsports heritage.
Their art gallery actually features some of motorsports’ top artists, like Sam Bass, Garry Hill, and Jeanne Barnes.
Their gift shop has all types of racing memorabilia. You can find sheet metal, used racing tires, rims, even crew shirts from drivers and teams.
Larry got the complete tour of the Museum and brought the tape back to show on Larry’s Look this morning Don Miller, the Chairman of the Board of Directors, showed some of their most popular exhibits and talked about the importance of the NCARHOF to this area and how it’s actually a non-profit organization.
