CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- America's Got Talent is back and is as wildly unpredictable as ever!
Judgingis turned over to viewers as twelve of the Top 60 acts perform live at New York's famed Radio City Music Hall. It's all for a chance to wind the $1 million prize and become the most talented act in America.
Howard Stern, Mel B, Heidi Klum, and Howie Mandel star as the celebrity panel of judges. Back again this year is Host Nick Carter.
Among its significant features is the fact that the show gives an opportunity to talented performers of all ages. It's also wide-open as far as what each contestant considers as their particular "talent".
This morning on Larry's Look, Mandel joined us to talk about his time on the show...and how much he enjoys being a judge.
He also related how uncomfortable he is with the more "bizarre" acts on program, especiallty sword-swallowers and other acts that put the contestant on the edge. He says too many of them are really flirting with potential disaster.
