ROCK HILL, S.C . -- You can experience living history, including the African American story as you explore the 775-acre Bratton Plantation, owned and lived on by three generations of the Bratton family.

The site features over 30 colonial and antebellum structures, two house museums, a Revolutionary War battlefield,  the Walt Schrader Trials, and heritage breed farm animals.

It’s only a short drive out of Rock Hill, South Carolina and provides  a great opportunity for anyone to see and learn about life in those times.

This morning on Larry’s Look, we got a behind the scenes tour of Historic Brattonsville.  It’s a fascinating look at the people who settled this area, going all way back to the 1700’s.

Larry even dressed the part of a Revolutionary soldier and fired musket.
