CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Senior Center is a well-know spot in our area.

It’s right-off Tyvola Road and offers a big variety of educational and recreational opportunities for senior citizens.  They provide lots of important information about special seminars, workshops, and classes.

Watercolor, computer use, foreign languages, driving and dancing, as well as many other classes, are all available at the Senior Center.

They find the best instructors and offer a full range of educational opportunities. Seniors can sharpen or learn new skills, broaden their knowledge.

Among the competitive sports at the Center, is table tennis. Several Charlotte area seniors competed recently in the National Table Tennis Championship in Cleveland, Ohio.

They joined us this morning on Larry’s Look to talk about the event and how well they did.  Larry even got some pointers on the game and even had a few good volleys!
