AirStar pilot Brent Gourley had some interesting facts about the NewsChannel 36 helicopter and how it’s used in covering breaking news and following traffic across the Charlotte metro area.
Cruising at 1300 we had some great views at that height. AirStar can actually fly at altitudes up to 15,000 feet and the cruising speed is around 152 mph.
