CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Over 70 hopefuls from across the globe will be tested to find the one woman who personifies the beauty and intelligence of Miss Universe.
The most famous worldwide beauty competition celebrates its 61st year to find the one woman that has all the qualities it takes to become the new Miss Universe.
Millions of viewers (from more than 190 countries) watch the event. You can see it on our area on NBC Charlotte, tonight at 8 p.m.
This morning on Larry’s Look, Larry spoke with co-host Giuliana Rancic and the reigning Miss USA Olivia Culpo.
Giuliana talked about how much she enjoys being part of this type of live event, having been the co-host of the Miss America Pageant earlier this year. Rancic actually was Miss Maryland USA when she was18.
Olivia Culpo talked about the challenge of competing against so many beautiful and talented women from around the world and just how difficult it can actually be, to become Miss Universe.
She also mentioned the possibility of embarrassing moments, like falling down---as many contestants have done over the years!
