CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The world's largest automotive extravaganza returns to Charlotte Motor Speedway.
The Food Lion Auto Fair brings together thousands of automobiles, collector car auctions, 10,000 vendor spaces, a massive manufacturer midway and a kids' play zone.
Every year the event attracts more than 100,000 visitors, features nearly 50 car club displays and offers every type of automotive part imaginable and memorabilia for sale or trade.
There’s also a huge car auction, and more than 1,500 collectible vehicles of all makes and models .
This morning on Larry’s Look, Larry went behind the scenes and showed some of the special exhibits, including a visit with “Elvis” (actually Charlotte’s Chuck Ayers, well-known Elvis Tribute Artist).
Chuck is in the ETA competition at the Speedway this weekend.
Food Lion Auto Fair is open from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday-Saturday and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
