CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Discovery Place is one of uptown Charlotte’s landmarks. It’s a science and technology museum for all ages.
You can find hands-on interactive exhibits, experiments, fun activities, and the IMAX Dome Theatre. Spend a day at Discovery Place and they’ll introduce you to a world of wonder -- where science amazes, educates and entertains.
Here’s something really interesting: You can become a rainforest researcher and study the amazing animals that live in the rainforest that’s right inside Discovery Place, even come face to face with some of the animals that call this ecosystem home.
On Larry’s Look Thursday morning, Discovery Place educator John Floresta took us on a journey through the rainforest with a very close-up view of some of the animals that live there.
Larry even introduced some visiting students to some of the “wild-life”!
