CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- This is National Tourism Week and Charlotte is a major part of tourism in North Carolina.
Tourism employs 42,000 in the Charlotte area and generates $3.7 billion annually in the Queen City. On this morning’s Larry’s Look we got an exclusive behind-the scenes view of the Visitor Info Center at Charlotte Douglas International Airport.
The staff there has over 15.000 inquiries a month. Larry had a chance to “help” answer a few questions. He also “convinced” one of the staff(Clem) to sing a little “Carolina in the Morning”!
