CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Hands on Charlotte is an organization that promotes volunteerism in our community.
Saturday, June 16th they are sponsoring a major event here in the Queen City -- the first annual Hands On Charlotte “Sprint for Service”.
It combines elements of The Amazing Race with Home Makeover, challenging up to 100 teams of two to five "Sprinters" to finish a defined set of service projects around Charlotte as quickly as possible.
On Larry’s Look today, we spoke with the Executive Director about the event plus Larry had a chance to get some “hands on” experience with one of their projects.
