CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Soccer was the subject of Larry’s Olympics this morning.
With the big success of the U.S. Women’s Soccer Team, Larry dropped by the Charlotte 49ers practice and met the women’s soccer team.
He also spoke with Head Coach John Cullen about the Olympics and the fact he is a native of London. Coach Cullen talked about the great soccer program at UNCC.
They’re playing their first game of the season this Saturday, an exhibition against UNC Asheville. Check out the video as Larry actually got his chance to “try-out” as a goal tender!
