CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Who wouldn't love to find a fountain of youth?

From the famous to the infamous, celebrities aren't the only ones who want to look and feel younger.

Brooks Baldwin admits she wants to look younger, too. The problem is, she doesn't want a facelift and hates the idea of facial fillers.

"I'm at an age where Botox is an option, but I prefer to avoid the needles and the additional expense. This is a nice alternative," said Baldwin.

Baldwin is trying a new product by Skin Authority. It's called Wrinkle Reversing Serum, and its maker says it can reverse the signs of aging immediately.

"It's really about giving the body back what it needs," said Skin Authority CEO Celeste Hilling.

NewsChannel 36 took the product to dermatologist Elizabeth Rostan of Dermatology and Cosmetic Surgery Center of Charlotte.

"These growth factors have been around for years in a variety of products," she said. "This serum is made from growth factors that help skin repair and heal."

Rostan says there's nothing really new in Wrinkle Reversing Serum, but she agrees it can be a good repairing agent.

Baldwin treated only one side of her face and felt that the product made a difference.

The makers of Wrinkle Reversing Serum say you need to apply the serum multiple times to get the full benefit.

"It's not like one morning you wake up and all the lines and crow's feet have disappeared, but over time I would definitely see the effects," she said.

The product costs $125 a bottle and lasts for up to four months.
