Greg Argos joined WCNC NewsChannel 36 in June 2010. He's a general assignment reporter, who can be found live on the morning and early evening shows.
Greg joins WCNC from WMBF-TV, the NBC affiliate in Myrtle Beach, S.C., where he worked as a reporter and anchor. While in Myrtle Beach, he covered everything from the city's motorcycle festivals to a massive wildfire that destroyed more than 70 homes in April 2008.
Greg also received three first place Associated Press awards for education and consumer/business reporting while in Myrtle Beach.
Greg graduated from New York University in New York, N.Y., with degrees in Broadcast Journalism and Political Science. He began his career as a freelance photographer at NY1 News in Manhattan.
He's thrilled to be working in Charlotte, and when not out in the field, can be found exploring all the city has to offer. Or napping, of course!
