CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- More than 100 Corvettes from area Corvette Clubs will be on hand to collect toys for the Salvation Army's Magical Toy Drive at Carolina Place Mall in Pineville.

It’s this Saturday from 8 a.m.-9:30 a.m.  Come out and see new and classic Corvettes spanning the 60-year-history of this legendary American sportscar.

At the end of the event all of the Corvettes will have a Police escort and cruise to Mimis Café, near North Lake Mall for brunch.  That’s from 10:30-noon on Saturday.

This morning on Larry’s Look, members of local Corvette Clubs brought their collector cars to our studios.

Boyd Kurt, Mike Hogan, Bill Miller, and Richard Thomas talked about their ‘Vettes  plus the importance of the event this weekend.

You don’t have to be a Corvette club member or owner, just come-by with an unwrapped toy this Saturday morning between 8am and 9:30am.  The location at Carolina Place Mall is the Upper Level Entrance parking lot.
