CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Greater Charlotte SPCA is a local private non-profit organization that serves the pets and people of Charlotte and the surrounding counties.

All donations are deductable to the fullest extent of the law. The organizations’s goal is to improve the quality of life of homeless animals through veterinary care, foster care, humane education, and spay/neuter programs.

This morning on Larry’s Look, Alex Wilson(head of the Charlotte SPCA) joined us in the studio with six of the cutest puppies around!

Their foster mom, Sonja Earnest, was here too---with the pups mother.  Each of the dogs is named after a member of the NBC Charlotte news team.

The puppies are a Schipperke Mix & Chihuahua mix. They were born November 1s and are available for adoption through the GCSPCA.

The mother’s name is Anjanette and also is ready to be adopted.  The puppies are named after Ann Sheridan, Dion Lim, Sonja Gantt, Ben Thompson, Brad Panovich, and Larry Sprinkle.
