CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- This year is the 26th year for a big fundraiser presented by the Salvation Army Women’s Auxiliary.
The Festival of Tables will be held at the Sheraton Uptown Charlotte Friday April 4th from 11:30 a.m. -2:30 p.m.
Proceeds from the event will benefit women and children’s programs, provide scholarships to Boys & Girls Club members, and funds the purchase of toys to give to children through the Christmas Stocking program.
This morning on Larry’s Look, we got the chance to see one of the beautifully decorated tables.
Major Kay Lancaster, Associate Area Commander of the Salvation Army, and Teri Seidman were here this morning to talk about the event.
Teri is a past winner and created a beautiful table setting in the NBC Charlotte Today studio. It’s a great example of the innovative table displays that make the luncheon so successful.
For tickets, call 704-621-7187. They go on sale March 28th.
