CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- If you’re heading to the mountains for some winter fun in the snow, the best way to learn to ski or snowboard, is to take lessons!
That’s where the French Swiss Ski College can help. They’ve actually taught over one million skiers and snowboarders in the past 45 years.
For the average person, it takes three times to be comfortable and in control on the more difficult terrain. The first lesson helps you learn to keep your balance, and you get familiar with sliding while staying on your feet.
The second lesson makes the transition to intermediate terrain and the third lesson gets you comfortable and confident on intermediate terrain.
This morning on Larry’s Look, we saw the “challenge” that Larry took to “master” snowboarding in one lesson. With the help of an instructor with a lot of patience, he managed to make some very special moves on Appalachian Ski Mountain!
Thanks to Jim Cottrell and the whole crew for all they did for today’s Larry’s Look.
