CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Joshua King is a singer, songwriter, musician and actor.

He’s from Charlotte and he’s twelve years old. Joshua has accomplished as much as many seasoned veterans of the entertainment industry.

He has worked as an actor in TV, film, commercial, radio, theatre and print. His acting appearances include Saturday Night Live, Late Show with David Letterman, Daily Show with Jon Stewart, Kings, and the soap opera, All My Children.

Joshua has been invited to perform with Grammy winners, Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees, Blues Hall of Fame Inductees and professional bands.

He has performed at blues and jazz festivals, in small clubs and large concert halls. He sang at the 2012 & 2013 US Open Tennis Championships, performed at the Lincoln Center in New York and for the State of New York's Martin Luther King, Jr. Day.

He actually performs many styles of music including blues, jazz, gospel, rock, pop, R&B, country and classical.

Joshua has been recognized internationally  for his amazing abilities on harmonicas as well as for his vocal abilities. He also plays guitar, piano, ukulele and composes music. attended.

This morning on Larry’s Look, Joshua was in the NBC Charlotte studios to talk  about his career at such a young age. 

He mentioned his time on Saturday Night Live and how he actually wrote the lyrics to a song that blues legend James Cotton composed -- “Blues In My Sleep”.
