CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- 'Chicago Fire' is on NBC Charlotte Tuesday nights at 10 p.m.
Created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas and produced by Law & Order creator Dick Wolf, the show follows the lives of the firefighters and paramedics working at the Chicago Fire Department at the firehouse of Engine 51, Truck 81, Squad 3, Ambulance 61 and Battalion 25.
The firehouse shown is actually in the city of Chicago at the Engine 18.
For the firefighters, rescue squad and paramedics, no occupation is more stressful or dangerous, yet so rewarding and exhilarating.
These courageous men and women are among the elite who forge headfirst into danger when everyone else is running the other way and whose actions make the difference between life and death.
The pressure to perform on such a high level has a way of taking a personal toll, sometimes putting team members from the Truck and the specially trained Rescue Squad at odds with each other.
Despite any differences, this is an extended family, and when it's "go time," everyone inside Firehouse 51 knows no other way.
Larry's trip to LA gave him the chance to sit down with two of the actor's from Chicago Fire---Jesse Spencer and Taylor Kinney.
This morning on Larry's Look, both actors talked about their characters in the series and how--as kids--they both dreamed of actually growing-up to be a fireman.
