It's time for the CIAA basketball tournament.
The event also means millions of dollars for the Queen City. The women's tournament starts Tuesday morning. The men’s begins Tuesday night, all at Time Warner Cable Arena.
The week kicked off with the annual Tip-Off Awards Luncheon at the Charlotte Convention Center.
The biggest crowds are expected to arrive Thursday. The events run through Saturday.
