OMAHA, Neb. -- Maria Sheridan has dreamed about having the opportunity to compete in the U.S. Olympic trials.

This week she is living her dream. Sheridan competed in the 100 Butterfly at the U.S. Olympic trials in Omaha on Monday.

Sheridan's dream was almost impossible a few years ago after she was diagnosed with epilepsy.
