CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The CEO of the Mecklenburg Aquatic Club will lead a new swimming program at Queens University.

David Marsh, who has coached nearly two-dozen Olympic swimmers, will develop the men's and women's swim programs, which will begin this fall at the university.

"I am honored to be supporting Queens in developing an outstanding competitive collegiate swim program, providing exceptional athletes with opportunities to thrive academically and athletically here in Charlotte," Marsh said in a news release.

The Royals swim team will compete at the Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center.
