CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Carolina Panthers will look to remain perfect in the NFC South when they host division rival Tampa Bay Sunday afternoon at Bank of America Stadium.

The Panthers are riding a seven game winning streak heading into week 13 of the season. One of those victories came at the expense of the Buccaneers back in late October at Raymond James Stadium.

Most would agree that this is a different Tampa team this time around. The Bucs have won three straight games and have the Panthers full attention.

"These guys are playing very confident now. They have a good feel and their quarterback (Mike Glennon) is playing well right now," said Panthers quarterback Cam Newton.

Carolina will be without defensive end Charles Johnson Sunday.

Johnson is sitting for the second straight week, as he recovers from a knee ligament sprain. There's also a chance that running back DeAngelo Williams may not play.

Williams hasn't practiced much this week, he's suffering from a deep thigh bruise.

Receiver Steve Smith is listed as probable for Sunday. Smith has been slowed this week by a minor knee injury but was back at practice on Friday.

Kickoff is set for 1:00 Sunday afternoon at Bank of America Stadium.
