As NewsChannel 36 Sports first reported last Thursday, Phil Mickelson has now officially committed to play in the Wells Fargo Championship at Quail Hollow Club April 30-May 6.
Mickelson joins a star-studded list that also includes Masters champion Bubba Watson, Tiger Woods and 2010 tournament champion Rory McIlroy. This year will mark Mickelson's nint appearance at Quail Hollow. He;s never won in Charlotte, but has always put on a good show for the area's golf fans.
