CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Reid Fliehr, the youngest son of  wrestling legend Ric Flair, was found dead in a SouthPark hotel room Friday morning, according to police.

He was 25 years old.

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police received a call around 10:30 a.m. that a man was unresponsive in a hotel room at the Marriott Residence Inn off of Piedmont Row Drive South.

Police identified the man as Reid Fliehr.

At this time detectives have determined that there does not appear to be foul play involved in this incident, according to the police report.

According to pro wrestling site PWinsider.com, Reid had wrestled with his father prior to the elder Flair’s retirement, and had just returned from wrestling in Japan.

Ric Flair's agent released the following  statement: "We are heartbroken to confirm that Ric's son, Reid Fliehr, has passed away today March 29, 2013 in Charlotte, NC. The investigation into the cause of death is ongoing. Reid was 25 and an incredible son, brother, friend, and professional wrestler.   No words can describe the grief that Ric and his family are experiencing and they do request privacy during this devastating time."

Reid's last tweet was sent Thursday.
