CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- Officials at the Quail Hollow Golf Course made changes to the course for a better fan experience at this year's Wells Fargo Championship.
The short game practice area, where players prep before the rounds, has been moved from near the entrance in previous years to farther back on the course.
Officials have also updated a putting green and driving range at the course.
"As the come to the practice range they'll notice a new putting green and improved driving range," General Chairman Wells of Wells Fargo Championship Mac Everett said. "It's a big deal to create a whole new practice area."
Everett said the changes are to improve the fan experience and make it easy to get around.
In order to make these changes they had to move the tee box from the fourth hole and reconstruct that hole before this year tournament.
