The sod was specially designed and grown by University of Georgia researchers and was recently laid. During the tour, crews were working to lay down the dirt where the Atlanta Braves will run the bases.

SunTrust Park touts that it has different "cities" within the park that will suit just about any type of fan. For the smallest fans, there is the Sandlot park sponsored by Children's HealthCare of Atlanta.

There, kids can run to first base, play game and do a little rock climbing. Take a 360 degree tour of this children's space.
