CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Knights brought big smiles to some little patients at Levine Children's Hospital Monday.
Players visited patients and their families, signed autographs and took photos. Some players even played video games with children to help boost spirits.
The players said it feels good to give back.
"Coming to the children's hospital is great. Charlotte Knights getting out in the community and see the kids and talk to them about baseball and give them a distraction from what's going on in their lives," said Knights catcher Donny Lucy.
The Charlotte Knights are the Triple-A affiliate of the Chicago White Sox.
