FORT MILL, S.C.  -- In just 10 days the annual Knights Fest will be held on Saturday, April 2, from 10 a.m to 2 p.m. and will be followed with a scrimmage game between the Charlotte Knights and the Winston-Salem Dash. 

Knights Fest and the exhibition game that follows will both be free of charge. This is the first ever Knights Fest that will include a scrimmage and access to Knights players and coaches.

Some of the other events happening at Knights Fest include:

  • National Anthem Auditions from 10 a.m. - 11 a.m.
  • Fans can take batting practice on the field from 10:15 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
  • Free hot dogs, hamburgers and soft drinks will be served at the Picnic Grill, located on the 3rd base side from 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
  • Knights players will sign autographs at 1:30 p.m.
  • Fans can purchase the latest Knights apparel from the team store
  • Knights fans can sign up for season ticket packages as well as 6-pack and firework ticket plans
  • Individual game tickets for 2011 Knights season will be available for purchase
  • Parents can sign up their kids to be a part of the Junior Knights Kids Club and adults 55 and over can register to be a part of the Knights Silver Slugger program.
  • Stadium tours will be available throughout the day

The Knights also encourage season ticket holders to pick up their ticket books at Knights Fest.  Kids Club members can also pick up their materials at Knights Fest.
