CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The man who has been fighting against baseball in uptown Charlotte says the fight is not over.
This week a sign went up on Mint Street in Charlotte's Third Ward, proclaiming the site as the "Future Home of the Charlotte Knights."
Developer Jerry Reese has fought the move, filing several lawsuits. He told NewsChannel 36 Thursday he may sue again.
"It is too small. It is too close to another sports facility. It is not expandable," Reese said. "It is simply a minor league product in a major league market."
Reese wants to bring Major League Baseball to Charlotte.
He told NewsChannel 36 he's trying to lay out his vision for city leaders, but they will no longer meet with him.
The current Charlotte Knights stadium is located in Fort Mill, S.C.
