CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- As the Charlotte Knights prepare to open for what will be its last season in Fort Mill, their new home in Uptown Charlotte is taking shape.
On Tuesday, workers continued the process of installing beams that will be the form of the new BB&T Stadium in Uptown.

The new stadium will cost about $55 to $56 million said Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer Dan Rajkowski.
The Knights also announced that any fan who purchases a season ticket for the upcoming season would get top priority on season tickets when the new ballpark opens.
